When last we saw Gorpi, she was supposed to be resting in her Medi-Tent, at the Wounded Camp, near Cloud Mountain. Fudjya and Aaliyah had just left to report into Bardo, but before Aaliyah arrived, Gorpi and Fudjya were having a very intimate, very personal discussion. It seems that after fighting alongside Gorpi, and watching her be wounded in battle, has stirred something inside of him. He told her he wanted to end their charade and tell Aaliyah the truth. At the time she disagreed. Already doubt has begun to creep in...

“He is such a bastard!” Gorpi thought to herself, as she sat up in her cot.
“Who is?” Onjo, her soul infused bow, replied.
“Fudjya!” She said sarcastically. “Who else do you think I would be talking about?”
“I thought we agreed we were going to forget about him.” Onjo replied.
“How can I? After that kiss?” She said as she looked down. “I can't let him go. Not again.”
“Gorpi, what about Aaliyah...?” Onjo began to say.
“You know what? I'm sick of living my life according to what may happen to Aaliyah! This hasn't exactly been the best trip to Sky Village I ever went on. I had to deal with Bardo's big mouth, then Fudjya, then Aaliyah and Fudjya together, then Erana and her big mouth, and then that stupid snake cave, with its stupid mushrooms, and its stupid unending pathway, up the stupid mountain. I am just so sick of it all.” Gorpi said as she laid down again and placed her arms behind her head, as she looked up at the top of the tent.
“Well, what have you learned from all this?” Onjo asked.
“That I made a big mistake leaving Fudjya when I did.” Gorpi replied. “And it is up to me to solve this problem.”
“What are you going to do?” Onjo asked.
“As soon as I can stand up without feeling dizzy I'm getting my man back, and getting the hell out of here!” She replied.
“Gorpi...” Onjo began to say.
“No, Onjo!” She said passionately. “I made a big mistake leaving Fudjya the way I did, and I'm not going to make the same mistake twice!”

Back at Sky Village, Erana had just scammed Fudjya and Aaliyah out of three hundred gold pieces. She told them it was the price of admission into her guild, but it is really only part of the money she needs to pay for Sarien's silence. The rest of it she will have to get from her father...

“Erana, I am so happy you have decided to go through with it. Seeing your father and all. I know that it is hard, but it is something you have to do.” Aaliyah said, as Erana pulled her tiger mount from her Lucky Bag.
“Tell me about it.” Erana replied as she rolled her eyes.
“I'm sorry, I do not mean to intrude, but I do not know what happened to my family.” Aaliyah said as she looked down. “You at least know your father is safe, and alive. I just think that to pass up the chance to see him would be a huge mistake.”
“Well, I am going, so do not concern yourself.” Erana said coldly. “I hope you do not mind if I take longer then we originally had planned?” She said as she mounted the Tiger.
“No, actually, that way Gorpi and our mystery guest should be recovered. We can all sit down and try to figure out what happened to him.” Aaliyah said.
“Sounds like a plan to me.” She replied as she fastened the tiger's straps and harness. “ I will be back in probably two or three hours.”
“Erana!” Fudjya yelled out before she could leave. “Did you know that Sky Village has a Transport Fey that goes to Green Scarp?”
“Yes. I just need some time with my tiger, to think of what I will say.” She said as she pulled away, and quickly left Sky Village behind her.

Aaliyah, and Fudjya started making their way to Bardo's store front, when Fudjya pulls her aside.

“Did you think anything was strange about her just now?” He asked.
“What do you mean?” She asked..
“I don't know. At the time she told us about her guild it seemed okay, but now, I don't know, I just feel like she was lying.” He answered.
“About what?” She asked.
“The gold. It seems like an awful lot of gold.” He answered.
“Forget about her.” She said as she looked into his eyes. “I still have to thank you for paying for my part of the admittance fee.” She said as she kissed him passionately. They stay this way for a few minutes. He pulls away.
“We better get to Bardo's, I forgot I have to send in some payments to Loo's Village, and I really need the gold he offered me.” He said.
“He's being paid to help?” Shard said obnoxiously. Aaliyah ignores her. They quickly make their way to Bardo's storefront, which is now covered with boxes stacked up all over the place. Bardo is standing in front of the largest stack.
“What's going on? Are you leaving?” Aaliyah asked as she approached him.
“Yes. I am returning to the Jokul Grounds near Snow Village.” He replied. “Did you discover what was inside the cave?”
“Yes...” Aaliyah began to say.
“Did you kill it.?” Bardo interrupted.
“Yes, and we discovered...” Aaliyah once again began to say.
“I do not need to hear anymore.” Bardo once again interrupted. “Since you finished the task, I no longer have need of you. Now get out of my face...”
