Reputation System
Before we get further information about Reputation system, let’s turn to the quality rate of Talisman and Defense Gear (DG) first.
There are four rates of Talisman and DG currently: White < Green < Blue < Golden. It’s not hard work to get equipments of White and Green quality, such as being rewarded for doing quests, looting from monster’s corpose and buying from others at a affordable price. But it’s not an easy job to get a Talisman or DG of Blue or higher quality rate without exploring higher-level scenarios or good luck!
Don’t be disappointed, go to visit Reputation Merchant and he will tell you what to do!

Reputation Merchant, who can be found at almost every central area, sells valuable Blue or Purple Talisman or all kinds of DG for all Talisman heroes. Different Reputation Merchant sells different kinds of equipments.
But to purchase of these reputation items, money is not the only ncecessary part. It is Reputation Level which plays the biggest role in juding your quality of purchase.
How to upgrade Reputation Level?
Reputation Level goes with area, and the only way to upgrade it is to earn certain amount of Reputation Point. Besides, different kinds of equipments calls for different Reputation Level.
How to earn Reputation Point?
Since Reputation Level must be accumulated by Reputation Point, then where to get Reputation Point?
There are 2 ways of earning Reputation Point. One is to do Reputation Quest, and the other is to exchange with Reputation Merchant for your Master Point.
1. Reputation Quest
Reputation quest is offered by Reputation Merchant and some certain NPC, such as Blacksmith and Apothecary. Reputation quest can be repeatedly accepted with rewards of Experience, Energy and Reputation Point The first 3 accomplishment of Reputation Quest can be rewarded double or triple rewards according to different areas.
You can check your current Reputation details from your character’s attribute interface (shortcut: C). Select “Reputation” for further information as the picture below shows. You can clearly see your reputation states in each area including the amount of Reputation Point you’ve accumulated so far, the amount left for a higher level and current Reputation Level.
2. Master Point
If your character has reached level 30, then he/she is qualified for recruiting aprentices. Being a master embraces many benefits, one of which is to get Master Point that is brought along with the report of apprentice after each levelup. 1 Report from Apprentice creates 1 Master Point.
Each Master Point = 100 Reputatioin Point

But there is an exception, Loo’s Grave Keeper in Market of Clear Water Dam exchanges Master Points with you at a rate of 1:10. And what he sells differ from general Reputation Merchant. His goods are all Purple Suit ones. You will see more information of Purple Suit later.
Please note that Reputation Merchant is not the only person who can offer you reputation quest. For example, one NPC Rube Rich Man in White Bear Village and Ghost Din Woods functions as Reputation Merchant with both reputation quest and exchange of Reputation Point. And the NPC Village Head in White Bear Village also prepares the quest with rewards of Reputation Point for you.

Reputation Point will not be consumed or reduced in any case, and it cannot be transferred among areas.

With qualified Reputation Level, you can go to Reputation Merchant to purchase.

Move your cursor to one item to check details:

One highlight of Reputation system is the availability of Purple Suit. Complete Purple Suits consist of a collection of 6 purple Armor, Belt, Cuff, Armguard, Kneepad and Boot. Purple Suit is only available in high-level scenario and Reputation System.
Purple is a independant concept in TO. Purple is one quality that is generally between Blue and Golden (sometimes as equal as Golden).
